BitMEX integrates Mercuryo to enable fiat-to-crypto conversions

BitMEX, the crypto derivatives exchange, has partnered with global payment infrastructure provider Mercuryo to launch a new fiat-to-crypto on-ramp for its users, according to information shared with Finbold on Tuesday, December 9. The integration enables traders to buy cryptocurrencies directly on BitMEX using more than 30 fiat currencies. Easily convert their fiat into crypto The new feature simplifies onboarding for users by making it easier to convert fiat assets such as US dollars into digital tokens for trading across BitMEX’s spot and futures markets. Users can fund their accounts using credit cards, bank transfers, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, with deposits typically processed within minutes. Through Mercuryo’s on-ramp integration, BitMEX traders can purchase major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin ( BTC ), Ethereum ( ETH ), and Solana ( SOL ). “The integration of Mercuryo’s on-ramps on the BitMEX platform provides our users with a robust and intuitive means of converting fiat into the cryptocurrency of their choice,” said Raphael Polansky, Chief Growth Officer at BitMEX. “The user experience (UX) is everything in crypto and Mercuryo has proven expertise in delivering an optimum on-ramp experience.” Petr Kozyakov, Co-Founder and CEO at Mercuryo, added that the integration would give : “BitMEX traders the convenience of a trusted gateway wrapped in a familiar interface.
